Daniel Craig James Bond Movies Ranked From Worst To Best

The 007 movies adapted from Ian Fleming's novels brought us a character driven plot films following the espionage of James Bond. The character was played by 9 actors and today we bring on a list of the movies played by Daniel Craig and ranking them from worst to best.

4. Quantum Of Solace (2008): 7.3/10

Well, no surprise here, we think all of us can agree that Quantum of Solace was the worst Bond film in Daniel Craig series, slow plot, boring scenes, nothing extra ordinary in action too.

Well, it did have a plane jump stunt scene which was quite good, but it also had a slow and boring character change, not arc, but change.

But in no way, shape or form we are saying Quantum of Solace was a bad film, it is a great story of overcoming the death of our beloved 007's love. But again when compared to other Bond films, it was just not enough.

3. Spectre (2015): 7.6/10

"Spectre" fulfils some of greatest 'Bond' actions sequences and crazy stunts which is most expected from the double-O seven franchise. It involves a bucket full of accomplished actors like Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista and many more. We felt Dave Bautista was given quite a less screen time after all considering the importance of the character he played.

There were some materialistic attractions like the Aston Martin DB10 and Jaguar C-X75. The plot was good but it mostly intended to summarize the Craig-Bond's storyline.

With Sam Smith's great voice and one of the best bond theme song, writings on the wall, Spectre is definitely better than quantum of Solace. But it wasn't enough to end the bond series in a grand way, let's hope the upcoming Bond film, No Time to die, does justice to our beloved Daniel Craig.

2. Casino Royale (2006): 9/10

When it was revealed that Daniel Craig would be playing our beloved 007 a lot of people were sceptical about it.
But when Casino Royale hit theatres back in 2006, all criticism was annihilated. After the release some even came out and said, "Casino Royale is the best bond Origin film", and indeed it is.

The reason why Casino Royale is the perfect origins film is simple, it focuses on our main character without being distracted too much by plots and sub-plots. After watching Casino Royale WE KNOW WHY Bond is the way he is, WE KNOW WHY Bond is heartless and why he DOES NOT trust anyone, and WE KNOW WHY he treats women as nothing more than objects who are just there to please him whatever way he likes.

Casino Royale is and will always remain in our hearts for its 3 acts, it is literally 3 different stories in one movie packaged with great cinematography and music, and also, that 2nd act airport sequence was incredibly better than most modern action film's climax. The only issue which we have (only if we nitpick) is that the screen time of one of the best looking Bond villain; Mads Mikkelsen was born to play a 007 villain, too sad he didn't play the role for a bit longer.

1. Skyfall (2012): 9.5/10

"Skyfall" might be the best Bond film ever made, not just in Daniel Craig series, it is probably THE BEST ONE.
The reason for it is simple, it is quite similar to that of Casino Royale. It's sheer focus on Bond and a great villain. To be honest, probably, one of the best one, Javier Bardem who portrayed Silva had the perfect balance of creepiness and smartness to play a Bond villain.

It is the character development which makes this the best one. In Skyfall, 007's character is not like the previous ones, infact he is smarter, better, more experienced, or maybe he just thinks he is... It is as if Sam Mendes ressurected a new James Bond.

In the end we'll just say Skyfall was great, because of its 3 act story with different settings, different characters, different philosophy, and with Roger Deakins' mind blowing cinematography, you have to agree, it is the greatest and the best looking 007 film EVER MADE.
